Who we are
The mission of the Mansfield Food Pantry is to provide supplemental food at no cost to those in Mansfield experiencing food insecurity. We believe that access to food is a basic human right, as is the dignity of our neighbors.
History
From humble beginnings back in 1997, serving twelve households, the mission of the Mansfield Food Pantry has been our driver over the years - to provide supplemental food at no cost to those in Mansfield experiencing food insecurity.
Today, 27 years later, unfortunately the demand is greater than ever. Over 400 community households utilized the Pantry in 2023. We are proud of our milestones, displayed here. They demonstrate our growth and determination to help those in need because we believe that access to food is a basic human right, as is the dignity of our neighbors.
