Community Donations

Each year, the Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual Taste of Tri-Town to benefit the food pantries of Mansfield, Foxboro, and Norton.

The Mansfield schools regularly hold food drives. These efforts are typically the largest food drives for the pantry, often bringing in more than a ton of food. In addition, local churches, Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops, community organizations, and local businesses conduct food drives throughout the year. If your organization is planning a food drive, please contact us. We can provide you with a detailed list of needed food items.

Our local postal carriers help the food pantry as well. Each year during the annual Stamp Out Hunger campaign, residents can leave food donations in or next to their mail boxes. Our postal carriers then pick up and deliver the donations to the food pantry. Stamp Out Hunger occurs on the second Saturday of May.

Our Supporters

Our Daily Bread ~ Mansfield Food Pantry began as an outreach project of the Congregational Church of Mansfield. The church very generously provides our space.

The food pantry receives funding from the United Way. In addition, the Town of Mansfield Non-Profit Gift Fund has provided the pantry with funds to purchase a freezer and new wagons (for carrying clients' groceries to their cars on Saturday mornings).

We thank Cumberland Farms, Shaw's Supermarket, Stop & Shop, Target, and Trader Joe's for their assistance. Our shelves could not be fully stocked without their help. Local businesses participating in a day of service come in every year and clean, organize, and help “spruce up” the pantry. Local churches and service organizations regularly send volunteers to help with Saturday distribution. Our neighborhood banks support the pantry often.

Each fall, Our Daily Bread ~ Mansfield Food Pantry sends out its annual plea - the only fundraiser run by the pantry itself. Local businesses, corporations, organizations, and individuals contribute to the campaign. Cash donations are welcome all year!
